HIS STORY
A 3rd generation musician who found spirituality in ancient roots
Born and raised in Mexico City into a family of musicians, Claudio began playing at age 12. After completing his classical guitar training, he moved to Montreal where he studied languages and Jazz guitar here in Canada he first discovered Indian classical music, yoga, and the transformative power of sound.
His journey took him through Europe, India, and Nepal — where in Kathmandu he learned the art of Tibetan bowl sound healing.
That was the moment everything came together: his love of music, his yoga practice, and a deep understanding of sound as medicine.
Now based in Wellington, Claudio brings over 20 years of experience to his yoga classes, sound healing sessions, corporate wellness work, live performances, and film & TV sound recording.
Currently Claudio is closing the circle by learning Mexican shamanism and indigenous Mexican music.

Claudio has taught yoga, performed music, and offered sound healing New Zealand, Mexico, Canada, India, Nepal, and across Europe.
From 5 stars Resorts the in Riviera Maya, to top Yoga Studios in Berlin and Wellington Claudio has behind him lots of yoga classes , workshops and concerts.
His corporate clients include Chorus, Weta Digital, PWC, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Health Ministry.
His TV & Film credits go from local productions in New Zealand to International feature films.
300hr+ Certified Yoga Teacher - Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Nada Yoga, Yoga Nidra.
Claudio learnt Yoga from the Traditional Yoga school Sivananda Yoga in Montreal, he has taken many private classes and workshops from teachers in Europe and India. His approach is Holistic including Mantra, Mudra, Asana, Meditation and deep relaxation with Sound
Sound Healing Artist - Tibetan Bowls, Gong, Drums, Crystal Bowls,Flutes,Harmonium, Voice.
Claudio has a bachelor in Classical Guitar In Mexico City.He learnt the Art of SInging Bowls in Nepal He uses his music background and Yoga knowledge to perform Music and Sound that elevates people´s soul and helps them find stillness.
Claudio is a very active musician and composer in the Wellington Region.

Claudio discover that instruments are like the colours of a palette, he uses many colours to paint the right notes.

Claudio has worked on many local and international productions as Sound Recordist, Boom Operator and Sound Assistant since 2020.
Some of his clients are Weta Digital, Maori TV, RNZ, Nation Live, BBC.
